Hello PS 124 Families!
It seems like we just dropped the kids off for the first day of school yet here we are in the middle of October. How did that happen!? The children are settling into their routines, the hallways are buzzing and the PTA is gaining momentum on our Fall activities.
Whether you are a new or returning family, please consider helping us get a good start by
VOLUNTEERING at one of our upcoming events. The more hands we have, the more we can do.
FALL FEST is coming! Our first big celebration of the year is coming up on
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 from 12-3. We’ll transform the schoolyard into a family carnival complete with bouncy house, face painting, games, arts & crafts and food. Costumes are encouraged and all kids will receive a free pumpkin too! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED… This is a great way to start (or continue!) participating with the PTA. Just click this link to sign up:

Also mark your calendar for our super-popular
MARATHON FUNDRAISER on
NOVEMBER 5. We host one of the best viewing parties along the route with hot coffee, baked goods, sign-making and our famous cowbells!
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to run the tables and BAKED GOODS will be accepted for sale. Click here to sign up:

Our next
PTA meeting is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18th at 6:30 and will include an election for VP Community Affairs, Co-Secretary, and two parent seats on the SLT. Come early at 6:00pm and you can get a flu shot FREE with an insurance card or $35 without. Staying healthy... priceless!
Thanks for reading and see you in the schoolyard!
