Here is a simple, perfectly balanced Patek Philippe Calatrava wristwatch from the 1970's. Just a perfect everyday quintessentially vintage watch with the most straight classic design.
Round solid 18k gold case measures 33mm diameter by 6.7mm thin. Gently domed plastic crystal. Gold snap case back. Straightlugs. Calatrava Cross signed crown. This case is as simple and elegant as a wristwatch case can be.
Original untouched silver dial with applied golden baton indices and original golden baton hands. Dial is original factory finished with sunburst brushing.
Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 23-300 PM with 18 jewels; adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions; and double-stamped with the Geneve Seal. Movement is clean and running great.
This watch is presented on a vintage exotic leather strap; that may be the original strap. The embossments are too hard to read now; but since the watch comes with its original PP gold buckle, it's not a stretch to say this may be the original strap and it has some life to it.
