Impact youth Sunday at 6:00, we are hosting “Be the Light” in our Gym with other area churches. Come hear about how we can be part of a community-wide mission project. Dinner provided.

Ever49ers meet this Tuesday, Oct. 17th, at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The program will be IGNITE Youth Worship Arts. Bring a friend and enjoy the beautiful music of our youth choir. This meal is catered.

Wednesday Night Supper for the 18th, 5:30 pm CLC Gym: roast beef, church potatoes, and carrots—or—salad bar and soup—or—hot dogs and fries for the kids. Please indicate the number coming on the pew pad. No charge/donations accepted.

Operation Christmas Child: Information tables are now in the Fellowship Hall and CLC on Sunday mornings with "how to pack" brochures, labels, and shoe boxes. Donation items needed: soap, wash cloths, hair brushes, combs, manicure sets, toothbrushes, socks, and T shirts. Collection boxes are located in the Fellowship Hall and the CLC.

Auditions: Acting auditions for the adult musical How to Have the Best Christmas Ever will be October 18 and 25 at 6:00 in CLC 210. Seeking actors age 16 and up, male and female. Also recruiting stage crew and behind-the-scenes workers. If you cannot make auditions but want to participate, contacts are Bob Adams 910-520-3953 or Kim Adams 910-520-4882.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month: the Staff-Parish Relationship Committee (SPRC) wants to be sure our pastors know how much we truly appreciate them. So—Church Members, “don’t let them escape without a good Christian handshake or hug” today! On behalf of the congregation at PVUMC, the SPRC will provide them a “hug” via a popular restaurant gift certificate. Thanks to our pastors for all they do to help us to “Connect hearts to Christ and one another” at PVUMC.

Food Pantry Needs: canned corn, crackers, and canned ravioli.
