Just prior to celebrating their second anniversary, Littleton yoga studio Maha Soul has moved from their original location on Prince Street to 5739 S. Curtice, in the space previously occupied by the Pottery Studio. Home to over twenty instructors hailing from New York to Alaska who have studied or practiced in locations as diverse as India and Costa Rica, classes are grouped into ‘no sweat’, ‘very little sweat’, ‘medium sweat’ and ‘big sweat’, making it easy for anyone at any level to find a fit for the style and intensity of yoga that’s right for them. In addition to yoga, belly dancing, energy work such as the Japanese Reiki technique, massage and customized workshops are available.
Littleton’s newest business organization, the Littleton Business Chamber, is holding their second meeting Thursday, October 19th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Platte River Bar and Grill, 5995 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton. Businesses and organizations of any size located within Littleton city limits are invited to attend. The Chamber’s mission is to serve as the principal representative of businesses in its market area, contribute to its members’ success and prosperity, and to promote the economic and civic interests of the community. Littleton City Manager Mark Relph sees the new group as a community partner, stating ‘there’s been a void’ in terms of a communications channel which can present a unified business perspective to City Council. Town Hall Arts Center has served the Littleton community for the past 36 years and remains an essential anchor for the historic downtown Littleton shopping district. Every year the theater hosts over 44,000 children, students, adults and seniors from across the Denver Metro area through its musical performances, community events, educational programs and the Stanton Art Gallery.
Recently, the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center board of directors endorsed Vision 2025, a strategic plan for the future. The organization’s programs are thriving more than at any time in its history. Having established a strong base of patrons and season ticket holders, a reputation of quality productions, a professional staff, and a solid financial endowment; the time is right to move forward.
Town Hall Arts Center must find additional space to continue serving the rapid-expanding population of the Littleton region. The theater building is bursting at the seams. Due to the overwhelming opinion of stakeholders during Vision 2025 planning, board members stress the theater will not be leaving its present location. They understand the theater’s intimate charm and quality programming is a significant reason for Town Hall Arts Center’s success. However, educational programs routinely have wait-lists, public rental and event spaces are unavailable due to space limitations, rehearsal space is inadequate and a modern scene shop has become a priority. Additionally, there is a need to provide a greater array of theater and concert performances.
Town Hall Arts Center is seeking a 12,000 sq. ft. educational and rehearsal space to address these needs, as close to the Main St. location as possible. Expansion is essential for the future of Town Hall Arts Center to continue to provide the same quality service to the community as it has in the past.

The Arapahoe Community College Foundation will host the Eighth Annual Grapes & Hops to Grads on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Mike Ward Automotive (Maserati Showroom) in Highlands Ranch. Join Master of Ceremony Libby Weaver (former FOX31 news anchor) for an evening filled with music, a silent auction and local cuisine while sampling a variety wine and craft beer selections (cocktail casual attire). All food, wine and beer samples are included in the ticket price.
