We are delighted to announce that our work to help people facing crisis has been nationally recognised. Last night, we were award the Observer Food Monthly award for Outstanding Achievement. The awards which are now in their 14th year are voted for by both readers and a judging panel. Speaking on receiving the award, Elizabeth Pollard, Chair of Trustees said: ‘We are so proud of how hard everyone works to stop people going hungry, and grateful to every donor and supporter who contributes to making that work possible. We also thank the Observer for recognising everyone’s contribution and highlighting the work that needs to be done.”

Tesco Food Collection 2017
We’re excited to announce the dates for this year’s Food Collection at Tesco. Express and Metro stores will be collecting from 20th November and larger stores will be taking donations November 30th – December 2nd. As well as food and other items that are donated for local foodbanks in the network, Tesco will top up all of your donations by 20%! The Food Collection is an important part of The Trussell Trust calendar, with foodbanks across the UK benefitting from the generosity of local communities.
