Take Action

Action Item:

1. In light of the recent damage to Puerto Rico, Florida, Houston, and California wine country, many want to help but don't know what to do. Turn your feelings of despair into action by writing an op-ed, connecting the dots about how these events are related to climate change and urging your fellow Americans to join you in speaking up for solutions to climate change.

2. So far in 2017, clinicians have logged 141 actions, including 81 presentations, 28 policy activities (letters, meetings), and 35 media activities (op-eds, blogs, LTE's, media interviews).  Many activities are not yet recorded. [Help log activities by you and your colleagues]

3. Rotary clubs are community services groups that seek to advance world understanding, fellowship, and peace. Many would welcome a talk on climate change and health.  Reach out and ask your local chapter. Slides for this talk may be found here.
