Showing new work from Strawberry Hill House, Pope's Grotto, Normansfield Theatre and Tuscany
For the last 2 years I have been continuing my weekly pilgrimages up to Twickenham to draw and paint in the heritage sites of Richmond Borough and the Thames, including Alexander Pope's Grotto, Strawberry Hill House, and Normansfield Theatre. This exhibition will be the first chance to see the brand new work I have made during this period, as well as some of the work made this summer whilst artist in residence at Borgo Santo Pietro, Tuscany.
"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd"
(Alexander Pope - Eloisa to Abelard 1717)
The exhibition runs from Thursday 26 October to Sunday 3 December 2017
