Yesterday, our co-director Emily Zulauf got up before a big crowd at McCaw Hall and pitched the story of our project. We told the folks in the audience that this matters, that our clients matter... and they agreed. SCP won second place in our category, taking home a Publisher's Clearing House-style check (granted, for a little less money, but we're still thrilled!).
The whole experience has been a positive and impactful, and we extend a huge congratulations to UnLoop, who snagged the first place prize, and who helps many of the same individuals as us.
It's inspiring to see so many innovators and organizations tackling the problem of mass incarcerations from many angles. We're proud to be one of them.
