GeoSLAM Video
New Video: Enhancing Rapid Capture GeoSLAM Data with the DPI-8X
In this latest workflow video, we showcase the powerful process of rapidly scanning large areas with the GeoSLAM ZEB-REVO and capturing close-range full color detail on important areas with the DPI-8X. Special thanks to the historic Watson's Mill and our partners at Point Cloud Solutions and On-Point Solutions for working with us on this. Click here for the full video.
IAFSM
IAFSM Conference 2017: Join us next week in Atlanta
We are proud sponsors of the IAFSM's 4th Annual International Educational Conference next week in Atlanta, GA. Please find us in the expo hall all week for live demos of our very latest tech, and join for our presentation on Tuesday at 11am, covering Speed, Detail, and Portability: The Benefits of Handheld 3D Scanning for Forensic Documentation.
MIT Italy
DPI-8X at MIT: Exploring Ancient Engineering to Inform the Future
In the latest DotProduct Blog, we highlight some exciting coursework out of MIT this past summer. As part of the Materials in Art, Architecture and Archaeology curriculum from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the DPI-8X was deployed in Italy as a field tool for documentation and analysis of ancient Roman ruins. Please click here for the full blog post, including some great images and videos. For more on the course and trip to Italy, please click here for an article from MIT News.
Utility Management
Electrical Vault and Underground Utility Capture with the DPI-8X
In our latest use case highlight, we focus on the use of our technology for capturing and maintaining 3D information of utility infrastructure. Close-quarters electrical vaults and underground manholes are both difficult to capture with other technologies and often under-documented otherwise. Please click here for an overview of DotProduct technology for utilities, including some excellent videos, images, and case studies.
