Hello,

In addition to the Taking Refuge classes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, there will be a DaySit this Saturday from 6 a.m. until 4  p.m.

The practice will include zazen, chanting, formal meals, samu, a Q&A session, and more zazen. It is open to all students, but if you are not familiar with meal etiquette you will need instruction.

Please bring a hat and gloves for some light work during the samu period. The meals will be formal in the Zendo. If you wish to attend and need a refresher on the etiquette, please contact the office and we'll arrange a review.

Students are welcome to attend all or part of the sitting. For planning purposes it would be helpful to know ahead of time if you will or will not attend meals.

There is a suggested donation of $25 for the day.
