OkIPC Annual Meeting

February 21-23 - downtown Tulsa

Please join us in February at the Tulsa Hyatt Regency for the 4th annual OKNRC. The conference is hosted by the Oklahoma Chapters of The Wildlife Society, American Fisheries Society, Society for Range Management, Oklahoma Invasive Plant Council, Oklahoma Ornithological Society, Prescribed Fire Council, Oklahoma Division Society of American Foresters, and the Soil and Water Conservation Society. The conference will have presentation topics on range, wildlife, fisheries, forestry, and environmental sciences. The OKNRC is working to foster future partnerships among societies, agencies, and NGOs.

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts for paper and poster presentations are currently being accepted for the OKNRC. Acceptable subject matter includes a broad range of topics in natural resources research and management. Professionals and students are encouraged to submit abstracts. Deadline is November 7th.

Students who have their abstracts accepted and are presenting on invasive species will have their registration fees covered by the OkIPC.

OkIPC Board Nominations

The Nomination Committee is accepting nominations for five At-Large Board Members, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer. You may nominate yourself or colleague whom you believe would be interested in the position.

Nominations will be accepted until November 15th. A slate of candidates will be proposed by the Board by December 1st. Elections will occur online Jan 1-15, 2018.
