Note from Mrs. Stenberg

October has been such a busy, busy month! We have covered a lot of ground, and we have learned many things. I am thankful for a month full of learning and growth for each student and myself!

I am looking forward to our upcoming conferences. If you have any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you later this week. I know we will have wonderful conversations about continuing to partner together for the development of your student.

Notes and Notices

Student Portfolios
Portfolios will come home on Thursday, October 26^th. Please review and discuss them with your student. They are full of work detailing student progress and Quarterly Reports! Please send them back to school with your child by Tuesday, October 31st.

Red Ribbon Week
National Red Ribbon Week began today and ends Friday October 27. See the school newsletter to find each day’s theme and other useful information.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be scheduled for Nov. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 7th. Each conference will be 20 minutes.
If you don't receive a time from me tomorrow please contact me ASAP so we can schedule a conference.

Reading Workshop

Word Work
I can read and spell words containing L blends.

Math Workshop

Writing Workshop
I can get ready to write by teaching all about a topic.
