FRONT's Madison Residency Program
Last month, I was selected as one of six regional Madison Residency Artists, a component of FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art. In total, there will be 18 residency artists from all over the country and world. I am lucky to be part of this group of so many artists working in Cleveland, meeting people, and making something.

In terms of plans, there's not much to talk about yet. A few hazy, preliminary ideas are starting to form and swirl in my head. Soon, I'll start spending more time at the PNC Glenville Arts Campus at 1464 East 105th Street. Until then, I'll be exploring the neighborhood.

Below in colored text boxes are details of other events I'm involved with in the coming month.
Notice the H Space opening reception is today.
  • H Space, an artists-run exhibition space, is hosting a group exhibition. I have a few paired sculptures similar to the one down at the bottom of this email. Two are on pedestals.
  • Muted Horn, another artist-run space is having a holiday sale.
  • The Sculpture Center is hosting it's 4th panel from the Cleveland Sculptors Network.

Saturday, October 28th, 12-5pm, Open Hours with an artist discussion at 2.
Sunday, October 29th, 12-5pm, Open Hours

I'm  thrilled to be part of SH/OP created by Muted Horn superstars Kelley O'Brien and Anthony Warnick. Lately, with the changing art scene (not just in Cleveland), I've been thinking a lot about new kinds of venues to see art and to buy art. At SH/OP there will be big works, small works and prices from $20-$1000, so support local art, local artists, and see an art place that is pretty new to the area.

Please join us at the Grand Opening on Friday Nov. 17 from 6-9pm. You might find me there during some of the other open hours: Saturday/Sunday 2-8 on 11/18, 11/19, 11/24, 11/25, 12/2, 12/3.
