Dinner of chicken pot pie, salad and creme caramel tres leches cake at 5:30pm. A special edition of Halloween Trivia to follow at 6pm.

Craft Christianity
This is a small group for adults on Thursday evenings at 6pm meeting at Elkmont Tap and Cellar, 100 Liberty Drive, Clemson (less than one mile from the CUMC campus). Childcare will be provided at the church in room 406 of the Christian Life Center. Come join other adults for a weekly discussion on what it means to be followers of Jesus in our particular time and place. There is no preparation necessary to participate in this group!

Christmas Shoebox Ministry
It’s time, once again, to fill those shoeboxes for the Spirit Lake Ministry in North Dakota. Spirit Lake will distribute the boxes to children on reservations in the Dakotas and Minnesota. Empty shoeboxes are available in the Narthex as well as the Christian Life Center if you need one. Our goal is to fill 150 shoeboxes this year so please help us to reach the goal. Wrap the top and bottom of the shoebox separately and include a check for $7, made out to CUMC, to help defray the cost of shipping. Wrapped and filled shoeboxes will be collected on November 5, 12, and 19.  Thank you in advance for your support of this worthwhile ministry.

Little Lights Learning Center here at Clemson UMC is hiring full-time teachers to work 8am to 5pm. If interested please contact director Redell Reese-DuPree at redellr@clemsonumc.org.

Habitat for Humanity Spaghetti Dinner
Support the Habitat for Humanity mission, seeking to put God's love into action, by joining us for a spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Monday, October 30, from 5-7pm in the Christian Life Center. Cost per plate is $8; tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door, to dine in or take-out. So skip the cooking that evening and join us for dinner. For tickets or more information contact Bill Dowler (654-5708) or Craig Tompkins (654-6854).

Tickets for the 16th Annual Ministers’ Cook-Off to benefit Safe Harbor are now available after each church service and in the church office.
The Cook-Off will be held in the Christian Life Center at CUMC from 5:30–7:00pm on Thursday,
November 2.
Tickets are $10, which entitles you to ten tastings of delicious dishes prepared by 15 area church ministers. Our own Chef Rev. Jim Morgan will be serving up Carrot “Up Side Down” Cake!! Come help support this valuable ministry and eat and mingle with friends from other area congregations. Oh-----and WYFF’s John Cessarich will again be on hand to broadcast the weather live from CUMC’s Christian Life Center. You won’t want to miss this evening of fun, food, and fellowship!

Foothills Chorale Fundraising Event
