6th Annual Think Humanity Golf Tournament Results

The trip to Uganda was one of the best ever, but we returned home to quickly turn our thoughts onto the 6th Annual Golf Tournament on August 13th.
We are so grateful to our volunteers, donors, sponsors and players.
Think Humanity was able to raise enough money to construct four wells and to purchase 1,000 mosquito nets. All wells have now been constructed and the mosquito nets will be added to our 7th Annual Bed Nets 4 Life Christmas Campaign.

June-July Trip to Uganda

The trip was a successful and rewarding one. A lot was accomplished. Just briefly:

Dedicated two new wells,
Distributed 500 mosquito nets in Kawegaramire and also birthing kits
Leadership summit "Portrait of a Hero(ione)"
Parent Visitation Day at Think Humanity Girls' Hostel
Visited new water storage tanks at two schools
Moonlight Primary School three classrooms (dedication)
Visited all students at their different schools
Acholi Quarter Camp and brought home new handmade products
Women's Health Day at the Think Humanity Clinic Kyangwali
Think Humanity Girls' Hostel leaders' meeting
Think Humanity Administrators' strategic planning meeting
and more.

Be watching for more information on our 7th Annual Bed Nets 4 Life Christmas Campaign. We will be selling Christmas ornaments and sending out the direct mail letters requesting $5 donations towards mosquito nets. This year we are giving out mosquito nets to the Alur people in Kihojo Village. This is one of the poorest areas of Uganda.
