It's Not Too Early to Think about Christmas
at least not at CEF
If you ask a group of kids what Christmas is all about what kinds of answers would you get? If your experience is like ours the most common answers are "presents," "Santa" and "no school," followed by "visiting family" and "playing with my friends." Frequently they don't know it's celebrating Jesus's birthday.

A few years ago Child Evangelism Fellowship began a public school Christmas party outreach where children learn the true meaning of Christmas and hear the gospel. Everybody loves a party so the turnout is very good. In fact, a northern Cincinnati suburb had 97 first and second graders at their party in 2015 and many heard the Good News of Jesus Christ for the first time. Each party includes games, a craft, snacks, songs and, of course, the Christmas story and an opportunity for the children to talk to a volunteer and accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
If you would like to have a Christmas Across America party at a school near you or help with one already scheduled, contact Patricia Beatty at cefcincy@gmail.com or (513) 675-4013.

Did You Know?
On June 11, 2001 the United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of CEF in Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc. v. Milford Central School District which opened the door to Good News Clubs in public schools. Good News Club must be given the same access to school facilities accorded any other non-school-related outside group.
