Workshops, a source of how to share, at Yolande's in Aytré

On September 9th, Yolande warmly welcomed us at her place for a Bloom workshop, as usual a very happy time, and also rich in many ways of sharing.
We made Bloom envelops to go with the cards named "Love, Peace, Joy and Light".
A time of concentration, relaxation, a moment of reverence with the meditation which enriched our session all together.

At the old people’s home "Les Tamaris"
As light as a paper bird
|
|
Back to the old people's home "les Tamaris" in Aytré this time to make origami paper birds.
Jean, Alice, Marie-Lou, Raymonde and her husband Jean, Idéo, Danièle, nicknamed Dédé and Evelyne, all took part in the workshop.
Juliette is the one in charge, she shows us how to make cranes with beautiful papers from picture books
Each different step is made very slow so that everybody can understand how to fold properly.
We take our time, and Juliette is here to initiate us.
It's amazing to see the people's great dexterity, and how easily they follow the instructions.
Of course, we have to help them, and check what they are doing, and they are impatient to see the result.
This activity requires attention, precision and patience because the bird reveals itself at the last moment.
And what great joy when we can see it with all its bright colours.
A bit of thread, a needle and there it is: a wonderful hanging bird everyone can keep in his or her room.
We thank all the participants and the accompanying persons who made it possible to share this time of joy which ended, as usual, by singing.

Exhibitions in France
Two Bloom exhibitions announced for Christmas in November and December 2017

A nice way of celebrating Christmas by offering charity creations from the Bloom workshops in France and in India.
|
|
|
The first exhibition will take place at Annie’s, in St Marie de Ré.
1, venelle du Clos, from Friday November 24th to November 26th, from 14 pm to 18,30 pm.
The second one will take place at Yolande's, 15 bis Allée des Avocettes, from Friday December 1st to December 3rd, from14 pm to 18,30 pm.

Welcoming is the most important
|

|
When in France, Jude and Sophie were very happy to welcome different persons who came to relax for a while, and live, at their sides, the yoga experience, with simplicity and humility.
Meditation, exchanges about life at breakfast shared with all, preparing meals, both individual and collective meetings, silent walks are very precious moments, timing the days.
These times together are a source of peace, joy, love and light, so that the people can leave, light hearted and confident.

Within our hearts, a brightly coloured departure

Jude and Sophie left for Cochin in India on Sunday October 1st, and arrived safely.
They thank the big family of the association for everyone's warm presence.
Cécile, who comes to live for a 6 months experience as a volunteer with the association, joined them on October 11th. She is present to welcome, listen, exchange, share, invite people from the bottom of her heart, and to discover the heart of our association.
We deeply thank her for her commitment in the association mission, and pass on her personal experience of here and now.

We already mentioned Brigit a widow who came to us with her 2 children. Her living standard is very low.
She came to us as soon as we arrived, and mentioned this urgent problem which worries her a lot.
The monsoon rains are very strong this year, and the water comes into her house up to the knees.
Her house is very old, with many holes in the roof so that the rains can seep everywhere inside. The roof needs to be redone totally.
We got in touch with a project manager who assessed the necessary works for the floor and the roof; 4 000 €, and these would last for a month.
We are looking for a way of funding to help Brigit and her family, so if you have the possibility of making a donation, you can do it on the association website.

Sharing with the association

We really need your support to go on with the helps for young people education, to buy medicines, to improve housing in India.
