Dear <<First Name>>

We hope to find you well!

Last Saturday you interacted with some #StopBrexit activists (from various groups) at the Winchester Buttercross and many of you left inspirational message on the flipchart! Thank you!

The campaigners collected 45 email addresses on that day, including yours, and promised to use them for the #NoEUWithdrawalBill petition and/or pass them on to the European Movement. As we don't actually know which addresses were for which purpose, we decided to send you an email and give you the option to decide for yourself what you would like to do:

  1. If you were interested in signing the #NoEUWithdrawalBill petition that couldn't be done on the day due to unforeseen circumstances, please do so on the Best for Britain website: https://bestforbritain.org/NoBrexit
  2. Should your main reason for leaving your email address have been to find out more about the European Movement, we will happily pass your email address on to them. If you don't want that, please do let us know by sending us a quick reply to this email stating that you want to opt out of the European Movement option.

Finally, if you would like to keep up-to-date with our activities by receiving our Newsletter or, even better, support us when running events, then that's great! If you would rather not receive emails from Win-IN, please use the unsubscribe option at the bottom of this mail.

Kind regards,
Sylke on behalf of the Win-IN team

P.S. Some information about the groups involved on Saturday:

Both Winchester International Network (Win-IN) and The 48% - Winchester group are local pro-EU grassroots groups which have been founded during the last year. The local 48% group formed in reaction to the referendum result to campaign against Brexit. Shortly after that Win-IN was founded by a subset of members of the Winchester 48% group with the primary aim to provide assistance and activities for international and/or internationally minded community members. Both groups are party-independent, and made up entirely of volunteers who run activities in their spare time.

The European Movement is an independent, cross-party organisation committed to keeping the UK in the EU. The group's belief is that there is no deal better for the UK than full EU membership and the European Movement's nationwide grassroots network is campaigning to keep the UK at the heart of Europe.

As we all agree on the #StopBrexit message, we all work together.
