Minerva’s Karl Van Orsdol is attending the UNFCCC Climate Conference in Bonn (COP23) starting November 6, 2017.  He will be speaking about the impacts of climate change on communities: mountain communities in the Rocky Mountains, an agricultural community in Central Ghana, and a pastoral community in the desert regions of northwest South Africa.  He will discuss lessons learned from his on-going work in these communities and adaptation approaches to promote resilience in the face of climate change.
