UW Sustainability open house

Friday, October 20, 1-2 p.m.
Gerberding Hall room B40

Stop by the UW Sustainability office Friday afternoon to meet our staff and students, who will discuss sustainability efforts across the University of Washington. To kick off next week's SustainableUW Festival, we'll answer questions about all the upcoming festival events, talk about sustainability across the University of Washington and provide resources for you to get involved on campus.

The UW Sustainability office is in the basement of Gerberding Hall off Red Square; look for the signs pointing the way.

During the open house, we'll be accepting donations for the UW Campus Food Pantry. Representatives from the pantry will also be on hand to answer questions and discuss the pantry's work to ensure every community member has access to healthy and wholesome food.

The 2017 Sustainability Fair will be Wednesday, October 25, in wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ – Intellectual House starting at 11 a.m. The fair features a variety of campus and community exhibitors discussing their sustainability efforts, along with a student project showcase.
Following the Sustainability Fair, Governor Jay Inslee will host a Climate Town Hall in wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ – Intellectual House at 2:45 p.m.

The UW Sustainability open house and Sustainability Fair are just a few of the many events happening throughout the 2017 SustainableUW Festival.
