Just a little bit of news

Dear  << Test First Name >>

I honestly don't know where the days are going at the moment! It seems like each week if flying by and I am constantly chasing that illusive satisfaction of having caught up on everything. Do you know that feeling?

I had another teaching trip at the beginning of last week. Two fabulous days of stitching with the Flinders Branch of the Embroiderer's Guild in Laura. Since I was up that way already, we took the opportunity to spend a couple of days in the outback - relaxing and breathtaking as always. There are few more pictures on the BLOG if you have not already seen them.
Before I left, I was working on a new goldwork project for a workshop in December. I had hoped to finish it before I left, but didn't quite make it...
....the last stitches went in yesterday (I did do the lefts after the photo...)
and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I might call this one 'Sonnet'.

Embroidery @ Gallery One
Growing Stitches

6 Week course, starts Wednesday 25 Oct.
There are still a few available so if you feel like playing with stitches and thread, come and join us!!!
Click HERE to download the class description.
There is no project for this workshop, but I have my own ideas how I would like to stitch a tree so I will be stitching along with the rest of the group - just for fun and will be posting the progress on Facebook and the BLOG, so you too can stitch along if you like.

Beating Around the Bush
2018
catalogue out now!
I am so glad I am teaching at the fabulous event again next year.
Not just because it is such a great event, but with so many fabulous classes and tutors to choose from, I would not have a clue where to begin if I was to book in for classes.

There is always catching up to do after a trip away - I am so, so lucky to have a darling friend who comes over and helps me pack kits when the stash is getting low! It is so nice to company and a good chat while counting, sorting, cutting and dividing all the bits and pieces that goes into each kit.
I am now waiting on stock for those that are sold out - with a bit of luck we will get to them next week.
NEW
PERSIAN BOUNTY ~
Raised embroidery kit

The full kit for the Raised embroidery, Pomegranate & Dragonfly is on the shelf.
The kit includes detailed, step-by-step instructions and everything you need to complete the embroidery.
AU$80.00 (+p&h).

I have a few exciting things happening in the next few months - in other words before that time-of-year-I-will-not-yet-speak-out-loud and I am pretty certain, I will not have time to be bored.
I hope you are enjoying this autumn or spring with needle and threads, wherever you are.

Best Stitches,
Anna X
