Kids Need Education Cambodia welcomes new apprentice teacher Keo Vichra

Aogaah Cambodia is thrilled to announce the addition of an apprentice teacher to our little school.  Keo Vichra is learning teaching methodology from our master teachers: Navy, Chamroeun and Sarath.  Keo will be working 2 hours a day, 5 days each week at the school to provide a much needed addition to our staff today and for the future.

Keo is from Kampot Province, which is located in southern Cambodia on the Gulf of Thailand.  She graduated high school in Kampot Province and is currently studying marketing at Preah Kossomak Polytechnic Institute in Phnom Penh.  Keo also speaks English as well as reads and writes English.

From all of us at Aogaah Foundation and Aogaah Cambodia, welcome to our family Keo.

New work group formed to provide more communication to sponsors.

Many people are not aware that besides donations to our school, they can also sponsor a student's education for $80 a year.  Sponsorship includes regular communications as to the wellbeing and progress of the student.

Chamroeun Sun (Teacher Chamroeun) and Margie Lyscas (AF VP of Donor Communications) have formed a work group to promote regular communication with donors who sponsor students.   This new work group will help offer even more communications than in the past.

At a recent 70th birthday luncheon for Bryan, the club raffled off several prizes including a minor artwork from well know local artist Marion Purvis who donated the artwork.

The donation will sustain the school operations for almost one month. It will be used for student supplies, teacher salaries and rent but not for administration. The school is
monitored by volunteers and has no paid administration.

Our heart felt thanks go out to all of the members of the Palm Bach Club for their generosity.

THANK YOU for the treats -  BRYAN AND CHRIS

Bryan and Chris loaded with gifts visited the school and surprised all the kids with a gift of treats, milk and a stuffed toy.
