Stepping All Over the World
To Celebrate the completion of our Taking Steps Project we're planning a day of stepdance workshops. We're hoping to include taster sessions on Appalachian, Welsh Clog, and, of course, Dartmoor Stepdance.
The day is mainly aimed at introducing you to these styles, but if you'd like something a bit more challenging let us know and we'll try and accommodate you.

Membership
TASC membership renewal falls due at the end of this month, and we’ll be writing to current members individually.
If you have been members in the past, but have not renewed lately, or have never been members, we’d like you to consider joining us.
As we have said over the past year or two, TASC's activity has dropped down a gear, largely due to external funding cuts, so you may well ask what benefits membership brings.
Simply, to help the organisation survive we need your membership fees. Without them we couldn’t maintain the website, or keep going as we have done for the last 23 years. Think of it as a charitable donation towards keeping a voice for the promotion of folk music alive in the area, and encouraging our network of advice and support. You’ll also be part of planning what we do in the future.
Think about it, it's only a fiver!

Astonishingly, the Barley Mow in Builth - historically, the farmers' /market pub at the end of the main street - has re-opened. A couple from the Manchester area have taken it on.
