Night-time truck movements to begin 26 October
Night haulage:
An application has been approved for heavy vehicles to enter and exit the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane site at night, from Sunday to Thursday between 6:30pm and 11:30pm, beginning Thursday 26 October 2017.

All truck operators will continue to comply with the Traffic Management Plan and will remain conscious of their CBD surroundings, site neighbours, other road-users and pedestrians.
Where:
Trucks will be accessing and leaving the designated loading areas within the site as detailed on the accompanying map. The main entry points are William St (north) and Queens Wharf Rd, while the main exit points are William St (south) and Alice St.
What to expect:
Importantly, no demolition work will occur at night, only the loading of vehicles.

While no demolition work will occur, excavators will be used to load the trucks. All efforts will be made to keep noise to a minimum.

For safety, traffic controllers will be in place to assist motorists and pedestrians as trucks enter and exit the site.
Day haulage:
Truck movements during the day - up to 16 trucks per hour during peak loading periods - will continue as per current haulage timings, which are:

• Monday to Friday from 9am until 4pm
• Saturday from 6.30am until 6.30pm

To minimise pedestrian disruption, trucks are prohibited from entering the Margaret Street access gate between 12pm and 1.30pm on weekdays.
