A message from the Bath BID

We are moving into the festive season and we have been working hard with our partners at Visit Bath to ensure that visitors discover all of the city's attractions while enjoying the Christmas Market. There are lots of events and opportunities in this week's newsletter.
 
We are proud of the work we do for the Bath Evening & Night-time Economy and the Night Watch initiatives and are in preparation for our reassessment for the Purple Flag on the 24th of November.

I will be interested to attend one of the Bath Quays North Masterplan Consultation Meetings which are happening towards the end of this week. They will provide an opportunity to find out more about the development, and also to give any feedback. I look forward to seeing some of you there.

Our door is always open and so please get in touch if you have any city centre queries that you think we may be able to help with - we encourage you to make the most of the Bath BID.

The Christmas Market is Coming

The Christmas market is coming, we will be out and about in the city keeping the city clean and providing information as coach parties arrive during the 23 November - 10 December period.

Southgate Street Clean-Up

Southgate street has been transformed by our contractors, who are piloting a new sealing treatment on the pavements.  As you can see from the picture, the first phase is an intensive clean.  They reported  having cleaned up over 40,000 pieces of chewing gum off the street. We would love the visitors and residents to make a big effort not to drop any more gum!

Our rangers will be out and about deep-cleaning an extended area in the coming weeks.

Julian House Vigil & Sleep-In

Join Julian House at Vigil & Sleep-In on the 17th of November at Bath Abbey to celebrate charity’s 30th Anniversary.
The event is free but you do need to register for the Vigil or for the Vigil and Sleep-In.

Kingsmead Square will play host to a vibrant street food market this festive season. Taking place every Friday and Saturday from 24 November – 9 December; alongside the Bath Christmas Market, the market will showcase the very best in street food from across the South West.

November 16^th & 17^th in Bristol
For each day there are two events at 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm.
