Hi <<First Name>>,

Whilst we are busily working on planning for 2018 events, sponsorship, speakers and development there is still plenty happening in 2017.

Our Christmas b2b Buy Local media campaign starts today. If every adult were to spend $500 on their Christmas shopping in Ballarat this would inject more than $40 million back into our economy. Our message to residents is to shop local and take advantage of our fabulous stores and to retailers, make your shops beautiful now and offer an amazing customer experience.

Watch out from next Wednesday when the b2b Xmas Bunyips will be hiding around the town, find all 10 and you could go in the draw to win $1000.00 worth of vouchers.

We believe that an important role for us is also disseminating information and creating conversations. To this end we are facilitating the opportunity for you to receive an update first hand from our Councillors and CEO, see below for more details.

2017 Mentoring Program Success
"When we applied for the 2017 CommerceBallarat Mentoring Program, we were unsure whether we would be eligible as a start-up business. Commerce Ballarat worked hard to find us a suitable mentor and from there we have gone from strength to strength. We cannot speak highly enough of our mentor, Martijn, whose brand of encouragement and tough love was exactly what we needed. We are also grateful to Annie, a fellow mentee, for assisting us with a business name. We recently came runners up in the Hume Bank Life Tech Challenge, giving us prize money to invest in the business, publicity and a terrific morale boost. We look forward to being part of the Commerce Ballarat community for some time to come." Team at tecbox - Apply now for 2018 here
