ARE YOU READY FOR THE WEEKEND?

With so many Latin Dance school supporting the event, this year, the Byron Latin Fiesta will be bigger than ever! In just a few days, we will start the long awaited weekend! Get ready to party with more than 500+ people coming from all over Australia!

Remember that this year we are taking over 3 different venues in the beautiful town of Byron Bay!

 

REGISTRATION

• ONLINE TICKETS: If you bought your pass online, please bring your ID with your Full Name OR your TryBooking receipt with you to collect your Armbands at the Registration desk.
• PERFORMERS / INSTRUCTORS: Bring you ID. Your name will be under the Performers' list. Collect your Armband at the Registration desk.
• Everyone who has purchased a Full event pass plus all Team Leaders, Instructors, Performers and Volunteers will receive an Armband. This needs to be worn all weekend! A replacement fee will apply.
• TICKETS AT THE DOOR: - Will be available (either by Cash or Credit Card - add 3% fee), until sold out! We have record numbers of attendees this year, so we highly recommend to get your ticket through our online system in advance
• Please come early for registration to avoid queues. The Registration desk is open from 7.00pm on Friday night, and 9.30am on Saturday morning.

WORKSHOPS

 

• DANCE WORKSHOPS: will be capped and on a first come, first serve basis. This is to avoid over crowding. For your favourite workshops, please arrive early.
• We have 2 venues for the Workshops. One for ALL Beginners workshops at the Byron Bay English Language School and for all other workshops we have the Byron Theatre. Please refer to the workshop schedule
• MASTER Workshops: These workshops are not included in your FULL PASS, and they will be taught by our International Instructors. You can book your spot online or during the event if there is availability.

 

THE PARTIES

We will have 2 party rooms at the main venue

• The Theatre AKA The Salsa Room: DJs will play a good mix of different Salsa styles – Cuban / Classic / Romantic etc, plus ChaChaCha, Merengue, touch of Bachata. Our 2 LATIN BANDS will be playing in this room on Friday (El Timbon from Brisbane) and Saturday (Son Veneno from Sydney)
• The Party Room: Lots of Bachata & Kizomba with Zouk as well
• The After-Parties, hosted at Guzman & Gomez, the DJs will play a good mix of Latino party music, upbeat and fun! Salsaton, Reggaeton, Merengue, Bachata, Kizomba. Keep in mind, the flooring is paving stones so not suitable for spins, slides, etc.

 

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION

• Make sure you have your transportation booked from the airport to your accommodation. We have partnered up with Xcede (GoByron) for good deals!
• And you better have your accommodation ready for the weekend! :)

 

PLAN YOUR TIME

• Come to the PRE-PARTY on Thursday, 7pm Bachaterengue workshop with our international guest EDWIN FERRERAS and then party with DJ Super Juan and DJ Davide!
• Choose your Workshops from the timetable (we have more then 40 workshops to choose from!) and learn from the amazing line-up of National Instructors and you must at least do one workshop with our International EDWIN FERRERAS & DAKOTA from the USA and MIKE & MACARENA from France/Spain!. Also, please note: Private Lessons are available with selected Instructors, ask at Registration.
• Come to the parties, watch the amazing shows and dance to the tunes of our live Latin Bands!
• Performers, check the Performance Schedule, and make sure you attend the tech rehearsals. 
• Volunteers, Please make sure you have checked the Volunteer Roster carefully & that you know when you are helping out. Please also make sure you attend the Volunteer briefings.
