2017 ENC Central Region Fall Retreat

Friend,

Two weeks ago, me and 12 others from Cincinnati hit the road for Livingston, Tennessee to participate in our annual ENC Central Region Fall Retreat.

With the theme of "Love Never Fails" inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, each of us experienced God's love towards us and towards one another through times of worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and community-building.

Weekends like these are always a highlight for us campus missionaries, as God typically shows up and shows out in amazing ways in the lives of our students. This year's Fall Retreat was no different!

Student Spotlight: Josiah Deguara

"During my time at the ENC Fall Retreat, the Lord released a burden that I had been carrying on my shoulders for a while.

Over time, I bought into the devil's lie that I needed to live a perfect Christian life in order to be used by God. After sharing this with some other guys during our small group session Saturday afternoon, Zach, a campus missionary from a different school, came and mentioned almost the exact same situation during worship that night and prayed for me to be released from this mindset.

Through this, God reminded me that He is able to give me strength to follow Him in areas of my life where I struggle the most!"

Thank you, Friend for sending me as a missionary to the college campus! Because of your generous partnership in prayer and financial support, we are able to create opportunities like the Fall Retreat to help students experience Christ-centered community and encounter God in a powerful way.

Together, God is using us to make an eternal difference in Josiah's life and in the lives of many others. It's an honor to be "on mission" with you!

Ministry:

Pray Colossians 1:9-14 over every student our team has connected with so far this semester.
Ministry confidence and competence for our ENC Cincinnati student leaders.
For our upcoming Thanksgiving Potluck outreach happening Tuesday, Nov. 14th.

Personal:

Ephesians 3:16-18 – For God to fill and strengthen me with power through the Holy Spirit. That I would know and experience the depths of His love in new ways.
Rest & rejuvenation as the Fall semester begins to wind down. Fresh faith & vision as I begin seeking God for what He might have next for me in life and ministry.
