A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road Community Exhibition – Thursday 9th November 2.30pm - 7.30pm Large Hall

Contractors Carillion Morgan Sindall joint venture (CMS), in partnership with Stockport, Cheshire East and Manchester City councils, are continuing to make progress on the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR).

To keep you updated about progress to date and forthcoming works, the A6MARR Project Team are holding community exhibitions on the following dates:

Tuesday 31st October Poynton Civic Hall, off Park Lane, Poynton, SK12 1RB 3.30pm to 7.30pm
Thursday 2nd November Bramhall Village Club, 2 Melbourne Rd, SK7 1LR
Monday 6th November Hazel Grove Civic Hall, Hazel Grove, London Rd,  SK7 4DF
Wednesday 8th November Heald Green Village Hall, Outwood Rd, Heald Green, SK8 3JL
Thursday 9th November Woodford Community Centre, Chester Rd, Woodford, SK7 1PS 2.30pm - 7.30pm Large Hall

The exhibitions will provide an opportunity to speak to the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road project team, including representatives from CMS and Stockport and Cheshire East Councils.  Progress updates, plans of the scheme and visuals showing how the scheme will look when complete will be available to view at the exhibitions. Beauty and the Beast - 2nd - 6th January 2018

The wonderful CHYPS pantomime society will be performing Cinderella in the New Year here at WWMCC. This will be, as usual, a wonderful evening's entertainment for children, parents and grand-parents alike.

Burns Night Supper and Ceilidh Friday 26th January 2018

This Burns Night Supper will be a huge fun evening, you don’t have to be able to do one single step of Scottish dancing, nobody cares if you get it all completely wrong because the caller of our band will keep you right. We’re there to have fun. We promise you……you will enjoy yourself as well as work off some of those extra Xmas pounds! A piper will pipe in and address the haggis, we have a fun Scottish themed quiz, a great raffle and a brilliant ceilidh courtesy of Union Street Band – come and join us, tickets will be on sale from November 6th.
The next  table top sales are Saturday 11th November,Saturday  9th December and Saturday 13th January 2018 9am - Noon and the antiqe fairs are Thursday 26th October, Thursday 30th November, Thursday 14th  December and Thursday 25th January 2018 9am - 4pm.
