Welcome to the first newsletter for Tabby Tales Rescue! Officially launched in the spring of 2016, our first intake was on 5/30/16 with a set of triplets (Dollar, Cash & Penny). An all volunteer, foster home based rescue, from inception through June of 2017 Tabby Tales has placed 136 cats into loving forever homes! This fall is also a busy adoption season and we're finding wonderful homes for our furry friends. That's a lot of fostering & volunteering, but we think that's something to purr about!

Every Cat Deserves a Happy Tale

Sometimes there is a request you cannot deny...

We receive many requests for help and try to assist as many people and cats as possible, and then sometimes we receive such an urgent request for help we know we have to act fast. Such was the case with Levi. This kitten had such severe upper respiratory and eye infections, the original vet who examined him was not even sure that he would ever be able to see. 

Acting swiftly to take little Levi in, we started medicating him for his respiratory infection and scheduled an appointment with the veterinary eye specialist. Levi is such a fighter! Three weeks later he is doing so much better! While he may still need surgery for his eyes, he can definitely see some things and is making great progress. Adopt Smokey & Leo

These handsome fellas are looking for a place to call home. Smokey and Leo have been together since they were babies and are best buddies. They were recently displaced when their parent had a significant life change, but she wanted to make sure that her boys were well cared for and adopted to a new family together. They like to cuddle and play and get along well with friendly dogs. A little over a year old, Smokey & Leo are neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines and ready to curl up in your lap!
