Whether you're seeking that special ingredient for a holiday meal or a gift idea that features local food, we've got you covered. Read on to learn more about what we have available, and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Kilgus Farmstead Egg Nog

It's officially Egg Nog season! We made the first batch in our creamery last week and it's been flying off the shelves since. If you love our sweet and creamy nog, stop by our country store to pick some up or look for it at your local retail store (it's not available everywhere, so you may want to call ahead). It's around for a limited time only - now through the end of December. Don't miss it!

Holiday Gift Baskets

Support and celebrate a variety of local businesses by purchasing a gift basket from Kilgus Farmstead this holiday season. During the holidays, we put together decorative baskets of a variety of local products that we source for our Country Store. Gift options include local coffee, tea, cheese, butter, honey, jams and jellies, lotions, soaps and more! Some "grab and go" baskets are available in our store, but you can also customize your own local gift basket. To order, email or call us  by December 15th. We'll put together your order and you can pick your basket up at Kilgus Farmstead Country Store when you need it. Basket prices can range from $12 - $100 each, depending on the specific local products you choose to include.

Beef House Rolls

It's not too late to order these delicious yeast rolls from Beef House Restaurant for Thanksgiving or Christmas! While we try to keep them in stock in our country store, your best bet would be to call or email and reserve a dozen or more so that we're sure to have them for you. They are sold by the dozen and cost $7.50 each. Keep in mind that they do take a day to rise before baking, so plan accordingly for your holiday meals. They're worth the wait!

Nordic Creamery Butter

Nordic Creamery is another great local dairy business (up in Wisconsin) that we like to support. We carry Nordic Creamery artisan butter in our country store and like to use it in our own cooking, especially during the holiday season. These special artisan butters are also great for gift baskets.

You can choose from an assortment of delicious flavored butters including: Cinnamon & Sugar Butter (great to spread on those Beef House rolls!), Maple Syrup Butter (so yummy on pancakes), and Garlic & Basil Butter (a special touch on grilled cheese, veggies, or potatoes). Or, Nordic's Harvest Butter is also available now, made seasonally when their cows are eating harvested hays and grains. They're all creamy and delicious and you can't go wrong!

Kilgus Farmstead Meat - Specialty Bundles

Giving the gift of Kilgus Farmstead meat is another option you may want to consider for the meat-lovers in your life this year. For those who love to grill, we have Grilling Bundles that include a mix of either hamburgers and brats, or steaks and ribs for you to choose from.  We also feature a Crock Pot Bundle that includes beef and pork roasts as well as ground pork and hamburger, and a Breakfast Bundle that includes pork sausage, bacon and ham steaks. You can also build your own combination of beef and pork cuts, and we'll be happy to meet your custom needs as long as our supply allows it. The possibilities are endless!

Meat bundle prices range from $40 - $150, depending on the cuts of meat you want to include.  Call or email us by December 15th to reserve your custom order for Christmas. We will keep it in the freezer for you until you're ready to pick it up, and each bundle will be available as long as supplies last.
