A Koch Industries director and lobbyist is back on the Hill.
Greg Zerzan, now counsel to Rep. Greg Walden's (R-Ore.) House Energy and Commerce Committee, had worked for the behemoth Koch brother-owned corporation since 2010. Through the orgnization's Koch Companies Public Sector subsidiary, he lobbied Congress on a number of energy, environment, banking and finance issues. The Energy and Commerce Committee oversees legislation on much of Koch's sprawling business interests.
Zerzan has also worked as for the House Financial Serices Committee and the House Agriculture Committee and as a lobbyist for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.
