MALAYSIA TO HOST SI CONVENTION
In the NEWS section of the SI website - catch up with the latest from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, home to the 21st Soroptimist International Convention in 2019. The first Asian city to host the SI Convention, this highly anticipated event is expected to be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 18 – 21 July 2019.

SI ANNOUNCES ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADVOCACY 2017 - 2019
Soroptimist International has appointed Hafdís Karlsdóttir as SI Assistant Director of Advocacy for the next biennium 2017 - 2019. Joining Soroptimist International as a member of Soroptimist Club of Kópavogur in Iceland in 1989, Hafdís has shown ongoing commitment to the Soroptimist vision and mission and we wish her every success in her new role.

SI AT THE UNITED NATIONS
At the heart of Soroptimist International's advocacy is its work across six UN centres, where 13 SI Representatives ensure the voices of women and girls around the world are included in international decision making. Visit the NEW Advocacy section of the SI website and find information and articles from each of the six UN centres.

- In the 'About Us' drop down menu, visit the all new 'SI President's Page', where you can catch up with the very latest President's Messages.
Also in the 'About Us' drop down menu, you will find 'History' and a fantastic new section dedicated to each of the Federations.
- In the 'Our Work' drop down menu you will find a new section called 'Local to Global' - a Soroptimist showcase that currently includes SEEED Jobs For Life, The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards, the Meru Garden Project and Syria 'Back to School'.
- Take a look around the 'Advocacy' section with articles from CSW59, 60 and CSW61 and a useful link to the Sustainable Development Goals.
- At the click of a button, 'Contact Us' will direct you to SI HQ and each of the four Soroptimist Federations.
- Like what you've read? At the foot of each news story and blog are social media and email links, so you can share the stories you read easily with your club, friends and followers.
