Torchy's with Taylor. Join Taylor at Torchy's for lunch, conversation and fellowship after worship this Sunday, February 19. This is for all middle and high school students.
Prom Dress Drive. We will be collecting prom items for the Junior Woman's Club of Fort Worth drive to help low income girls get ready for prom. Donations needed include evening shoes, jewelry, purses, wraps, and unopened makeup products. We also need hangers for the dresses (no wire hangers please). If you have any of these items to donate, please bring them to church during the month of February.
Cowtown Brush Up team. The Outreach Committee is putting a team together for the Cowtown Brush Up on Saturday, April 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a program of Habitat for Humanity, and we will be painting one house in Fort Worth for a family or individual in need. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age, and all volunteers will receive a t-shirt. Supplies and paint are provided except for ladders which we will need to bring. Please sign up at church or contact Alissa Peters with your name and shirt size by February 28.
Grace Café, Saturday, March 4. Enjoy a beautiful meal and great company while supporting our youth program. Jesse Grimmer and Laura Hopkins graciously host gourmet dinners at their home with a capable wait staff of our youth. The suggested donation is $50/person with the entire amount going to the youth. This month's menu is built around pinot noir. Dinners are limited to 10 guests, so join in the fun by signing up at church or contacting Taylor soon.
AGLC at the Rangers. Do you like hanging out with AGLC folks? Do you like baseball? If you answered "yes" to one or both of these questions, come watch a Rangers game with us. There is a 2:05 p.m. game on Sunday, April 30, that we're going to get group tickets for. To gauge how many tickets we'll be buying, we need to know if you want to go, so please let Taylor know ASAP if you'd like to be included.
Germany 2018. A tour of Germany to visit the sites of the Reformation is being considered for the summer of 2018. We would probably travel with members of another local church. If you have interest in the trip please sign up at church. More information will be available later.
Construction is beginning this week! As a reminder our campus will be an active construction site, so please be careful, watch your children, and obey all signs.
Keep in prayer. Please keep the following people in your prayers: Samantha, Curtis, Ron, Barbara, Sandy, Debbie, Alan, Karen, Jerry, Javier, Joe, LaRue, Kyle, Mai family, Gary, Derek, Pam, Estill family, Melinda, Pat, Betty Ann, Lorraine, Berniece, Buddy, Dan, Bill, Landon, Darla, Cyndi, Esther, Donn, Thompson family, Allison, Brenda and Kelly, Melinda and Henry, Lisa, and Joan.
