American Friends of Russian Folklore has just released the final details of four upcoming folklore expeditions to Russia, Belarus, Siberia and Kamchatka.

You can get a close-up look at ethnographic film-making, trace the reach of Belarusian folk songs from Belarus to eastern Siberia, study the survival of Belarusian traditions in a Buryat setting, or document the folklore that emerges from multiple layers of settlers on the spectacular Kamchatka Peninsula.
