Foster-Powell Meeting "Ground Rules"

At last month's meeting, Foster-Powell neighbors put together a list of "ground rules" for neighborhood association meetings. These rules are meant to serve as a "code of conduct" and a guideline for how we want our neighborhood association to be run. The full set of ground rules can be found in the December 2016 minutes.
  • Be respectful.
  • One person speaking at a time.
  • Respect time: step-up, step-back.
  • Be inclusive, inviting and supportive.
  • Use a respectful tone.
  • No cussing at people.
  • No personal attacks.
  • Come with solutions.
  • Make space for different opinions. Practice active listening.
  • Foster diversity.
  • Show empathy and patience
  • Inspire each other and have fun!
