Residents' Update - Police Special:

Hello all,
You may or may not be aware that recently there have been significant changes to neighbourhood policing in your area. These changes have been driven by cuts to spending in Policing which have also been implemented to many other service providers.
So what does this mean for you as a Cheylesmore/ Whitley/ Stonehouse resident?
All neighbourhood Policing teams across the City indeed the entire Force area have been reviewed. Responsibility for Neighbourhood Policing in Cheylesmore Ward has now been handed to Police Sergeant Tony Ashton and his team, who were previously responsible for Binley & Willenhall Ward. In terms of Neighbourhood Policing responsibilities, Cheylesmore Ward has now been joined with Binley & Willenhall Ward simply because of the geographical location of these two neighbouring Wards.
In terms of staffing the teams current makeup is as follows:

Currently the team is not at full strength and it is hoped that additional numbers of staff will be recruited in due course.
