Be it the luck of the Irish or the upcoming spring, I'm seeing green.

Okay, I'm not Irish, and I don't dislike winter, but, by this point of the year, I'm ready for the change that spring brings.  So here's wishing you a happy St. Patrick's Day and the heartfelt hope that poofy winter wear will soon be traded for lighter gear. ;)

My final writerly appearance this year

I've been talking with readers and writers at books clubs, libraries, and writers associations all season, and, while it's sad to come to an end, I'm happy to wrap it all up on such a high note. If you're a writer (or want to be one), I highly recommend that you attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Writers' Institute in just a few weeks. There's still time to sign up. I'll be giving four presentations (wow!) and one (so far!) early-chapters critique.

After this one, I'll be signing books at one more event (Spectrum Live in Kansas City in April), but I'm not presenting. Then I'll focus on writing, particularly to finish the third and final book in the God Awful Series.

I won't be unavailable, though. You can chat with me on my author pages at Amazon, Goodreads, Facebook, or my website.

Giveaway

Giveaways two months in a row? How lovely!

The giveaway itself? Decidedly Unlovely.

I'll pull a name at random from my subscriber list (U.S. resident only) on March 31st to receive a free, signed, softcover copy of Unlovely by Celeste Conway, in which a ballet school holds a terrible secret.

As a subscriber, you're already entered. I'll contact the winner via email, and even cover shipping costs.

It's just a nice thing to do

Authors and small publishers depend on word of mouth for their success. If you've enjoyed a God Awful book, please leave a review on Amazon. Even one sentence helps a potential reader find a book they might enjoy. Thanks!

Leave a review for God Awful Loser here.

Leave a review for God Awful Thief here.

That's it for now. Enjoy March, hug a leprechaun if you can, or just watch ducks. Until next time! :)
