BUMC's 2nd VALENTINE'S FRIENDSHIP BRUNCH & FUNDRAISER is THIS Sunday, Feb. 12 with brunch at 9:15am in the Church Commons. We'll also have a Valentine's Silent Auction Fundraiser with bidding from 9:15am until 12:15pm. Spend some time looking through the baskets provided by different groups in our church family, and select one or two for yourself or a loved one, and let the bidding begin! Proceeds of the fundraiser benefit repairs and enhancements to our church facilities.

CALLED TO B'MORE IN CONNECTION - JOIN US FOR OUR ANNUAL PLANNING RETREAT TOMORROW, Feb. 11 at 9:30am in the Events Center.
In previous years, the Planning Retreat has focused on “what you can do” to help and serve. This year, the retreat will be different. We’re focusing on how we can “be” in God’s presence and help each other to be renewed, refreshed, loved, and cared for.
Regardless of your level of involvement in leadership at this time, we hope that you will come for a time to be together in fellowship with your Biltmore sisters and brothers.
Lunch and snacks for the day will be provided. Join us to play, pray, and celebrate together as we refine and extend our church vision and flesh out the church calendar for the coming year.

SCHOOL SUPPLY RELOAD! We’ve reached the second half of the school year, so we’re reloading and replenishing needed school supplies for our partner school, Glen Arden Elementary.
If you’d like to help, please bring: #2 yellow pencils, wide-ruled notebook paper, markers, crayons, scissors, Band-Aids, and Kleenex to place in the collection box located in our Church Commons area.

A major point of emphasis for our church in 2017 is the development of meaningful open-share small groups. Join a group and grow together physically, spiritually and mentally.
- B'MORE's 'N RAPPORT Small Group meets on WEDNESDAY from 5:15-6pm (church office area) where we continue to discuss Sunday's sermons in application to our lives.
- Emmaus Small Group continues each Wednesday after choir at 7pm with Doug Morris and Chuck Taft.
- A Lenten Study will begin Wednesday, March 1
- Contact Pastor Sonny for information on an uptown, mid-week men's lunchtime Life Group that may be forming ahead.

NEW SMALL GROUP OPPORTUNITY - FIRST GET TOGETHER IS SATURDAY, FEB. 25 at 11am at Barnes and Noble (Asheville Mall) on the stage located upstairs in the Kid’s Department. Join us each Saturday for story time and fellowship with each other and the community. On Feb. 25, Barnes and Noble will present Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! with readings and fun activities. MOVIES AND MORE, SUNDAY, MARCH 5 “Youngish” Adults are going to see “The Shack” at a local movie theater. Afterwards, we’ll go someplace nearby for refreshments and conversation.
