MHCT Update

Dear MHCT E-News Subscribers,

2017 is now in full swing with most people returned from holidays and ready to dive into what this year has in store.  Already MHCT has a number of exciting new projects we are working on and a few updates for you all.

This week we are holding a consultation with members that deliver services that are transitioning into the NDIS. This consultation will assist MHCT with our submission to the Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS regarding t
he provision of services under the NDIS for people with psychosocial disabilities related to a mental health condition. For more information about the Joint Standing Committee click here. If you would like to contribute to our submission, please provide your feedback by Monday 20 February to Elida Meadows emeadows@mhct.org

MHCT is now able to advertise for a new position to assist our members with system reform. We are currently advertising for a Project Officer who will be responsible for sector reform engagement. If you, or someone you know, would like to apply for the position please click here. Applications close 5 pm 15 February.

We are also pleased to announce that our workshops with Michelle Swallow regarding change management in the community sector have now been fully booked for the last sessions. This has been a highly insightful process for those involved, and we hope to be able to provide similar assistance in the future for our members.

As always, if you have any questions or would like to discuss any current issue in the mental health sector don't hesitate to get in touch.

- Connie Digolis, MHCT CEO
