Micronutrient Obsessed

When one focuses on optimal health, disease reversal, prevention and achievement of ideal body weight we can become totally micronutrient obsessed. Rather than celebrating what toxic food we have managed to completely remove from our diet, we can become obsessed with eating more and more health foods. Did you once judge yourself and set your mood for the day by what the scale told you to feel like? Did you trade in the scale for a greens or micronutrient obsession? Are you now judging yourself, good or bad, accomplished or not, based on how many greens, beans or sprouts passed your lips today. Do you enjoy eating them or are you force-feeding yourself flavorless green gruel?

Tonight's lesson will have you feeling fabulous and fancy-free, celebrating all that you are enjoying and mastering with a Protective Diet. We can achieve and easily maintain all our health goals without obsessing to the point that we feel like failures and throw in the towel. I personally eliminated the need to constantly challenge myself when I adopted a full time PD. I took a good hard look at all I had accomplished just simply eating a Protective Diet.I eliminated the pressure and obsession with unsustainable non-palatable dietary practices. I was then able to sustain a powerfully protective PD full time, allowing for optimal health free of worry and doubt. I have spent more than half my life trying to figure out what to eat to feel good and easily achieve and maintain my ideal body weight. With PD, I am finally free to live my life without food obsession.

During testing, I used it to turn a bowl of hot brown rice and steamed broccoli into an umami experience.
