An innovative youth project, funded by The Big Lottery, which uses hip hop music-making as a way to tackle social and emotional issues with young people.
Our qualified youth workers engage informally to support young people in schools and youth settings to express themselves through hip hop lyrics.
Proposed new educational project working with schools across Europe to explore innovative approaches to the challenges of migration and globalisation. The aim is to bring together educators with a passion for building strong, tolerant communities where perceptions are questioned, deeper thinking skills are developed, and best practice for teaching about challenging issues is distilled and shared. We are in the process of setting us a new website for this project and will report in the Autumn Newsletter whether our bid has been successful!
On our website, www.globaleducationderby.org.uk, you will find lots of resources and information, including our FREE membership scheme, staff team details, project information and opportunities, etc.
