On January 07th, we celebrated Three King's Day. In an impoverished community we organized this amazing holiday with the participation of 70 families of hammock weavers. The staff at Hammock Boutique helped give away 70 food baskets, a lot of toys and clothes for them.
We had a total participation of 280 children of different ages. While boys were playing soccer, girls were playing the jumping rope game. After the games, we had them team up and race to pick up the most trash. The team that gathered the most litter won with prizes like toys.
We got the most fun playing tug of war: the rope broke and everybody fell down. Then, we played some sack races.
While all this happening, Hammock Boutique` Staff carried up a Census Program about all the weavers picking up information about their life style.
By the end,, we broke 4 piñatas full of candies. It was a really good time!
We enjoyed Giving Back to our gifted weavers, enjoyed the fellowship from our celebration, and thank our our customers around the world for allowing us to change lives one family at a time.
