#TigerGivingDay: Help Texans Attend Auburn
Today is Tiger Giving Day! This year, the Alumni Association project will allow donors to direct their gift to their club's scholarship. Houston alumni and friends have a unique opportunity to help local students follow their dreams of attending Auburn University. Each year, GHAC awards an out of state waiver scholarship to an incoming Auburn freshman from one of the counties in the Greater Houston area.
The association also has a bold goal of reaching 1,856 donors during this year’s Tiger Giving Day, a figure symbolic of Auburn's founding year.
When completing your donation, make sure to enter the Greater Houston Auburn Club so your donation will go toward scholarships for local students.
Every donation matters! In fact, a contribution — of any amount — from 1,856 alumni or friends has a lasting impact on our annual participation rate and, in turn, our university’s national ranking (more below on national ranking impact).
From helping a student attend Auburn through your local club’s scholarship to helping our "participation" percent, your support strengthens our local Auburn community, transforms our students, and recognizes 1856 as a special year for Auburn.
