Side events
A new side event has just been added to the list of meetings taking place in the margins of LxAddictions17. The Pompidou Group (Co-operation Group to Combat Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Drugs) will organise the ‘8th Mediterranean School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (MedSPAD)’ meeting, involving 11 countries bordering the southern rim of the Mediterranean, as well as the EMCDDA. This by invite only meeting will take place in the premises of the Council of Europe’s North-South Centre. Attendees will share experiences of countries which have either already conducted or plan to conduct MedSPAD.
Various other side events are already confirmed, such as the third international conference on wastewater analysis: 'Testing the waters 2017’ as well as the ‘3rd international symposium on drugs and driving’. Interested participants are invited to register separately for all open LxAddictions17 side events.

The world travel award distinguished Lisbon as a fascinating destination for short breaks in Europe, based on the quality and diversity of its hotels, museums, monuments, restaurants, as well as its many other tourist attractions.
