We have launched - KMD is being traded on exchanges

Komodo has been listed on Cryptox exchange! It is a good exchange with liquidity, and we officially endorse trading there. They are a new company, but not anonymous like some other smaller exchanges.

You can now send your coins there, if you are looking to sell, or you can buy some more if you are bullish.

If you still have coins on our ICO platform, you can use the 'payout' tab to send your coins directly to the exchange. Here are the steps required to send your KMD to an exchange:

go to 'home' tab
click 'use existing KMD address'
input the deposit KMD address you got from the exchange
Now that you have the correct KMD address you can proceed to the 'payout' tab
Since you are using a 3rd party address you don't have the seed, and thus you will click 'skip'
Follow instructions and confirm the withdrawal

Warning: make sure you are withdrawing to the correct address! Once we send out the KMD there is no way to retrieve it.

Now, you can download Iguana Desktop Application and start sending/receiving Komodo coins! If you already requested a payout, then you can simply login with your ICO website seed.

There are three different modes available in Iguana:

Basilisk, the lightweight mode without blockchain download
Full mode, which uses the Iguana daemon
Native mode, which uses the Komodod daemon

The difference between the full mode and native mode is that native mode supports the private Z-transactions as well as the normal transparent T-transactions. If you want to access your KMD you must use either 'full mode' or 'Basilisk mode'

Warning: the 'native mode' might still have a lot of bugs and you need to backup the wallet, so we recommend not to use it with real funds.

Note: this is a public beta release and there are still bugs left. We are regularly launching new releases and with each one, the application becomes more usable.

Even though there might be few bugs it is safe to use KMD in 'full mode' or in 'Basilisk mode.'

We had a big update regarding our marketing efforts. We hired two people to work on our marketing for full time: Polycryptoblog and Lootz.

We are also going to launch a cryptocurrency creation kit with white label GUI. The goal is to get new coin projects to use our platform and to attract innovative projects that we will kickstart via a sponsorship program.

Komodo has many great features that are not that well known. For instance, it may come as a surprise that you are actually accumulating interest as we speak.

There is absolutely nothing you have to do, just hold the coins under your control. You receive the interest once you send the coins, so what you can do is send them to yourself once in a while.
