The Community Healthy Living Fund (CHLF) provides funding to communities, community groups and organizations to plan and deliver initiatives to improve the health and well-being of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, to enhance opportunities for people to live healthy, active lifestyles, and to promote the creation of age-friendly communities.

The Government of Canada has launched  Canada.ca/Flood-Ready to encourage Canadians to take action and adopt proactive flooding mitigation measures. Disasters continue to be an increasing threat to the safety and economic stability of Canadian communities and businesses, and flooding, in particular, is one of the most frequent and costly natural disasters.
