Quand le niveau d’éducation ne suffit pas


Il est reconnu que l’éducation postsecondaire améliore significativement la chance d’obtenir un emploi bien rémunéré, avec des conditions avantageuses, et d’avoir une vie professionnelle qui permet de s’épanouir. Il est aussi généralement admis que l’éducation postsecondaire diminue les obstacles pour entrer sur le marché du travail et ainsi, accéder au statut de citoyen « productif ». Travailler durant ses études lorsqu’on est en situation de handicap?


« C’est important de se mettre un peu en danger si tu veux, dans des environnements atypiques, pour être capable de savoir c’est quoi tes réels besoins et les exprimer aussi rendu sur le marché de l’emploi. C’est de se mettre un peu en situation d’inconfort pour voir qu’est-ce que tu es en mesure de faire et pour pouvoir développer ta créativité. Le plus vite que tu fais ça, le plus vite t’arrive à te débrouiller le temps que tu ais des adaptations au travail qui vont être plus aidantes. » Lire la suite
