Welcome to the March newsletter.
After the last few months of renovation and innovation I'm pretty much back to normal and can organise appointments for framing work.
A big thank you to those who held off getting something done.
Have a read on and see what I've been up to recently, and see if it inspires you to get something framed for good.

 Exclusive offer

Framed Sports Top for £100
Sports top framing is one of the main things I see done incorrectly and it shows.
Getting it done takes time and effort as I cut card to the right shape and stretch the top around it, and then there are spacers to stop the glass resting on the fabric.
It normally costs around £120 but for the month of March it will cost you £100.
You will get it done cheaper elsewhere but this is one of those occasions where 'you get what you pay for'.
All frames are handmade in the workshop in Stonehouse to your exact specifications.
Offer only available to newsletter subscribers so feel free to forward this to someone who might be interested.

 Previous work:

A selection of frames completed during the last few months.

Various Items
We agreed on the layout and the frame and mount combination.
I'm sure you'll agree that this will be a great talking point when it is hanging on the wall.
This customer brought these few things and asked for them to be put into one frame to highlight the history of the building.
Street Sign
Okay so this one wasn't brought in for framing, Peter had to go to the street sign.
This is an old photo and the frame is no longer there, but I'll have to put one on again soon as the rest of the area has been done up with the new building work.

Keep an eye out for it.
Football Programme
I often get asked if I can frame a book (or medal, jigsaw, football top, cricket bat, object...)

The answer is that I can frame almost anything you can think of.
There have only ever been a handful of things that I have turned down so if you are interested  in what they are feel free to ask.
This programme is wrapped in plastic and fixed behind so it is 'floating' in the middle of the coloured mountboard.
The book hasn't been adapted or damaged in any way so could easily be removed for any reason.
Finished with a silver slip to keep the glass off and a black glossy frame.

Children's Artwork
This was an interesting project. The aunt brought her niece's school artwork and asked for it to be framed as she liked it so much.

We decided on a gold undermount and gold frame to set off the bright colours in the artwork.
I think this child has a great art career ahead of her.
