Homeowner Spotlight: Meet Tamika
"I'm grateful for the blessing of our new home for me and my boys. Thank you so much for making my dream possible!" These are the words Tamika wrote on the front wall of her future home.
Tamika and her son Charles joined volunteers from Publix and Florida Hospital to help build her home and a brighter future. After completing 300 hours of sweat equity and hearing words of encouragement from her grandmother, who is also a Habitat homeowner, Tamika's hard work paid off when she saw her home come to life.
Please consider making a donation online today. Your investment in Habitat Greater Orlando will provide strength through shelter while building a better life for more homeowners like Tamika.

Publix Super Markets Charities have been a long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the United States. In December 2016, Publix Super Markets Charities announced that they would donate $5.5 million to Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the Southeast.
Habitat Greater Orlando was among the 21 Florida affiliates that will receive this generous funding and on Saturday, February 11th, Publix associates came together to celebrate and raise the walls on the 300th home during our 30th year.
Thank you Publix Super Markets Charities for the continued partnership and providing affordable housing to families in our community!
